Multimedia is media and content that uses a combination of different content forms. Multimedia includes a combination of text, audio, still images, animation, video, or interactivity content forms.
Multimedia is a fascinating and challenging career, where creative abilities, combined with your familiarity with available software, gives birth products such as compelling websites, audio/visual presentations, interactive computer graphics, Internet applications, and portfolio presentation appropriate for wedding photographs.
This program will act as a platform where participant will cultivate teamwork, and learn through group assignment, designed for performing collaborative projects in this field.
Through intensive multimedia education, attendants will learn on, and become experienced with various aspects of multimedia production. It will also enable fellow Participants to gain a real-world perspective on the nature of multimedia work from experienced and knowledgeable instructors.
Finally, we believe such multimedia production will enable participants to pursue new media opportunities, by developing a comprehensive portfolio that can be presented to potential employers or clients online or in person.

Working knowledge of digital photography, digital workflow and Photoshop is helpful but not required

Suraj Ratna Shakya, Media Worker and freelance photographer, career begin as Media Producer at Hits FM 91.2, Kathmandu and contributed to establishment of Photo.Circle as technical assistance. He studied photography at Pathshala, South Asian Media Academy Dhaka Bangladesh and associates DRIK PICTURE LIBRARY, Bangladesh and “Chobi Mela” international photo festival. He successful created different stories in multimedia for different photographers. He is one of the experts for establishment of the permanent museum for the Nobel Laureate Dr. Mohammad Yunnus.
He has experience in producing multimedia works, photo stories and video/documentaries such as Save the Children – Korea, Fair Trade Group – Nepal, Wild Life Conservation Nepal, WWF, Water Aid, Kids of Kathmandu and many others. He also assisted photographer Ira Block, National Geographic Magazine for a story on Lumbini. Currently, he is working at Color Cubes as multimedia experts cum photographer.
